HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-100 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -100 RESOLUTION APPROVING SERVICE STATION SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN APPLICATION 66011 BY TORN HORBAL WHEREAS, John W. Horbal has filed Application 66011 which includes a request for the issuance of a service station special use permit for the Northwest corner of 69th and Humboldt Avenues North, specifically described as: "That part of the South 205.0 feet of the East 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 26, Township 119, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying east of the west 120.0 feet as measured along and parallel with the west and south lines of said East 1/4. and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has, after public notice and hearing, recommended that a Special Use Permit be granted for the operation of a service station on the subject parcel, contingent upon approval of de- tailed plans of the station and its site to be submitted to the Planning Commission for its recommendations to the Village Council; and WHEREAS, the Village Council has received said recommendation and has further considered the application and is fully informed with regards thereto: BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center authorize a Special Use Permit for a service station be issued for "That part of the South 205.0 feet of the East 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 26, Township 119, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying east of the west 120. 0 feet as measured along and parallel with the west and south lines of said East 1/4. at such time as detailed plans of the station and site have been received by the Planning Commission and approved by the Village Council, and subsequent to platting of the general area bounded by 69th Avenue No. 71st Avenue No., Humboldt Avenue No. and Irving Avenue No. extended, including the additional 5 -foot and 2 -foot dedications of Humboldt and 69th Avenues No., respectively. May 2, 1966 Date *,"�-`Mayor AT'T'EST: 0 Clerk Resolution No. 66 -100 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, john Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
