HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-147 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 65 -147 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO WRITE -OFF UNCOLLECTIBLE CHECKS WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has reported that the following checks made payable to the Village of Brooklyn Center Liquor Stores are uncollectible because the payors' checking accounts upon which they were drawn had been closed and that attempts to locate the payors have been unsuccessful. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council. of the Village of Brooklyn Center to authorize the Director of Finance to write -off of the Village records as uncollectible the following checks: Dean A. Steelman, dated 11 -13 -64 $3.84 H. August Perkkio, dated 2 -27 -64 $2.45 Leon Lanz, dated 8 -13 -64 $3.75 C August 9, 1965 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Phil Cohen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
