RESOLUTION N0. 65 -149 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT NO'S. 1965 -30, 31, 6 32 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement consisting of the following: 1965 -30 Street surfacing in Noble Avenue from 61st to 63rd Avenues and Perry Avenue from 61st to 63rd Avenues North. 1965 -31 Street surfacing in Dupont Avenue from 67th Avenue to 69th Avenue North, 1965 -32 Street surfacing in Girard Avenue from 70th to 73rd Avenues, 70th Avenue and 72nd Avenue from Humboldt Avenue to Fremont Avenue and Fremont Avenue from 660 feet north of 70th Avenue to 73rd Avenue. WHEREAS, through Resolution No. 65 -142 adopted August 2, 1965, the Village Council established a public hearing for Street Surfacing Improvement No's. 1965 -30, 31, 8 32 for August 16, 1965, and WHEREAS, it has been determined necessary to reschedule public hearings for Street Surfacing Improvement No's. 1965 -30, 31, 6 32, and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they can be constructed at an estimated cost of $8,037.00, $6,980.00, and $22 respectively. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. Resolution No. 65 -142 adopted August 2, 1965 is hereby rescinded. 2. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended. 3. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the Village Hall in the Village on Monday, the 23rd day of August, 1965, at 8 :00, 8:30, and 8 :45 o'clock P.M. respectively and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks publication in the official newspaper of the Village. 4. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -149 1965 -30 All lots and parcels abutting the west side of Noble Avenue between 63rd Avenue and 61st Avenue extended and all lots and parcels abutting the east side of Perry Avenue between 63rd Avenue and 61st Avenue. 1965 -31 All to an r o v is dpa cels abutting Dupont Avenue between 69th Avenue and 67th Avenue extended. 1965 -32 All lots and parcels abutting Girard Avenue between 70th Avenue and 73rd Avenue, and all lots abutting 70th and 72nd Avenues between Humboldt Avenue to Fremont Avenue and all lots and parcels abutting Fremont Avenue between 660 feet north of 70th Avenue to 73rd Avenue. 5. These proposed improvements shall be designated Street Surfacing Improvement No's. 1965 -30, 31, and 32. August 9, 1965 de- Date Mayor r ATTEST: fA-,V, Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Phil Cohen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
