HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-153 CCR Member Earl Simons introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -153 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1965 GENERAL FUND BUDGET BY THE AUTHORIZATION OF INTER- DEPARTMENT APPROPRIATION TRANSFERS WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Minnesota did during its 1965 session enact a law requiring the assessments of all real estate to be made before January 2, 1966, and WHEREAS, this action will require the Assessor to expend additional funds not provided for in the 1965 budget, and WHEREAS, these additional expenditures are as follows: 1. Printing and mailing of homestead cards $625.00 2. Part -time assistant to do additional field work required to evaluate real estate con structed during the period from May 1, 1965, to January 2, 1966. Estimated 150 hours at $2.00 per hour $300.00 $925.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to: 1. Increase the Assessment Labor Appropriation by $300.00. 2. Increase the Assessment Printing and Publication Appropriation by $625.00 3. Reduce the Mayor and Council Contingency Appropriation by $925.00. August 23, 1965 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member, Phil Cohen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Phil Cohen, john Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
