HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-155 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consid- eration of proposed Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1965 -30. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on August 18, 1965 which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 65 -155 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1965 -30 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the Village and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: 1965 -30 Street Surfacing improvement on Perry and Noble Avenues from 61st Avenue to 63rd Avenue North Estimated Cost of $7,063.00 August 23, 1965 Date or ATTEST: C���'�� %Y� -4'✓� Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
