HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-178 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0, 65 -178 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO'S. 1965 -45, 56, AND 59 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement consisting of the following: 1965 -45 Sanitary Sewer in Humboldt Avenue North from 70th Avenue to 570 feet south of 69th Avenue. 1965 -56 Sanitary Sewer in Camden Avenue North from 62nd Avenue to 635 feet north and Mary Lane from Camden Avenue to 250 feet east. 1965 -59 Sanitary Sewer in June Avenue North from Indiana Avenue to 31t0 feet north. WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they can be constructed at an estimated cost of $21,500.00, $10 and $3,980.00 respectively. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended. 2. A ublic hearing on the proposed improvements shall be P g P P P held at the Village Hall in the Village on Monday, the 27th day of September, 1965, at 9:40, 9 :00, 10:30 o'clock P.M. respectively, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing be two weeks publication in the official newspaper of the Village. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED CONSTRUCTION AND BENEFITTING THEREBY. 4. These proposed improvementsshall be designated Sanitary Sewer Improvement No's. 1965 -45, 56, and 59. September 13, 1965 Date tlayor n ATTEST: Clerk Resolution No. 65 -178 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Phil Cohen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, john Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
