and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 65 -180
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT NO'S. 1965 -16, 18, AND 47
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improvements
consisting of the following:
1965 -16 Water Main in Indiana Avenue and June Avenue North
connection at 57th Avenue North.
1965 -18 Water Main in Russell Avenue North from 53rd Avenue
to 200 feet north.
1965 -47 Water Main in Humboldt Avenue North from 70th Avenue
to 69th Avenue, and 70th Avenue North from Girard Avenue to Humboldt
Avenue.
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report
advising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they
can be constructed at an estimated cost of $3,280.00, $3,300.00, and
$6,850.00 respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council ofthe
Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted
by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be
held at the Village Hall in the Village on Monday, the 27th day of
September, 1965, respectively at 10:30, 10 :15, and 9 :40 o'clock P.M.,
and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing
by two weeks publication in the official newspaper of the Village.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements are
as follows:
ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED
CONSTRUCTION.
4. These proposed improvements shall be designated Water Main
Improvement No's. 1965 -16 18 and 47.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson,
Phil Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck
and the following voted against the same: None;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
