HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-186 CCR Member Phil Cohen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -186 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTATIONS ON CHAIRS FOR THE MEETING ROOM AT THE BROOKLYN CENTER PUBLIC LIBRARY WHEREAS, the Assistant to the Administrator, on behalf of the Library Building Committee has received quotations on chairs for use in the meeting room at the Brooklyn Center Public Library, which correspond to the specifications established by the Library Building Committee, said quotations as follows: Chairs Dolly Miller Davis Company 17.64 20.00 Farnhams 18.00 20.00 Minneapolis Restaurant Supply 18.90 20.00 The above prices being unit quotations based on a quantity of 101 chairs and 5 dollies; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the low quotation of Miller Davis Company is deemed to be the best quotation submitted by a responsible bidder and said quote is hereby accepted, provided, however, that the Miller Davis Company shall supply to the Village in writing a statement guaranteeing the chairs in all respects for a period of 5 years. September 20, 1965 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
