HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-204 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -204 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on September 27, 1965, at 10 :00 A.M., C.S.T., they opened and tabulated bids received for Water Main Improvement Project No's. 1965 -13, 16 18, 47 54 6 57, Sanitary Sewer Improve- ment Project No's. 1965 -43, 45 56 8 59, and Storm Sewer Improve- ment Project No. 1965 -46, and that said bids were as follows: Erwin Montgomery 85,099.60 Nodland Construction Company 86,198.10 Knutson- Seurer, Inc. 88 Barbarossa 6 Sons, Inc. 91 746.60 F. D. Chapman Construction Company $103,445.15 C. S. McCrossan, Inc. $103,573.50 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Erwin Montgomery in the amount of $85,099.60, as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Water Main Improve- ment Project No's. 1965 -13, 16, 18 47, 54 6 57, Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No's, 1965 -43, 45 56 8 59, and Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1965 -46 according to the plans and speci- factions therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. September 27, 1965 D to McAyor ATTEST LVM-tT0.-o Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, john Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
