and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 65 -204
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING
CONTRACT FORM
WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer
have reported that on September 27, 1965, at 10 :00 A.M., C.S.T.,
they opened and tabulated bids received for Water Main Improvement
Project No's. 1965 -13, 16 18, 47 54 6 57, Sanitary Sewer Improve-
ment Project No's. 1965 -43, 45 56 8 59, and Storm Sewer Improve-
ment Project No. 1965 -46, and that said bids were as follows:
Erwin Montgomery 85,099.60
Nodland Construction Company 86,198.10
Knutson- Seurer, Inc. 88
Barbarossa 6 Sons, Inc. 91 746.60
F. D. Chapman Construction Company $103,445.15
C. S. McCrossan, Inc. $103,573.50
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of
the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of
Erwin Montgomery in the amount of $85,099.60, as to furnishing of
all work, labor and material in connection with Water Main Improve-
ment Project No's. 1965 -13, 16, 18 47, 54 6 57, Sanitary Sewer
Improvement Project No's, 1965 -43, 45 56 8 59, and Storm Sewer
Improvement Project No. 1965 -46 according to the plans and speci-
factions therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk
is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by
a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson,
Phil Cohen, john Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
