AND 1964 -57 AND PUBLIC UTILITIES WATER REVENUE 65 HOOK -UPS,
AND WATER HOOK -UPS, AND SANITARY LATERAL 614 -20 AND SEWER
CONNECTIONS
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the
Engineer heretofore selected by this Council for such purpose,
calculated the proper amounts to be specially assessed for the
improvements known as the improvements listed above of said Village
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land in accordance
with the provisions of law, and has prepared and filed with the
Village Clerk tabulated statements in duplicate showing the proper
description of each and every lot, piece or parcel of land to be
specially assessed and the amount calculated against the same:
2. Notice has been duly published as required by law that
this Council would meet in regular session on Monday, September 27,
1965 and Monday, October 4, 1965 to pass on the proposed assessments.
3. Said proposed assessments have at all times been open
to inspection and copying by all persons interested, and opportunity
has been given to all interested persons to present their objections,
if any, to such proposed assessments, or to any item thereof.
4. This Council finds that each of the lots, pieces or
parcels of land enumerated in said proposed assessments was and is
specially benefitted by said improvement in the amount of said
proposed assessment set opposite the description of each such lot,
piece or parcel of land, and that amount so set out is hereby levied
against each of the respective lots, pieces or parcels of land
therein described.
5. Such proposed assessments are adopted and confirmed,
and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessments are
affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessments
for each of said lots, pieces or parcels of land respectively.
6. Said assessments as adopted and confirmed shall be
certified to by the Village Clerk and filed in his office and
shall thereon be and constitute the special assessments for the
payment of the above listed improvements.

7. The amounts assessed against each lot, piece or
parcel of land shall bear interest from the date hereof until
the same have been paid at the rate of five per cent (50) per
annum.
8. Such assessments shall be payable in equal install-
ments beginning in the year 1966 payable on the 1st day of
January in each year and continuing until all of said installments
shall have been paid, each installment to be collected with taxes
collectible during said year by the County Auditor.
A. Curb and Gutter No. 1964 -6 in three equal annual
installments.
B. Storm Sewer No. 1965 -29 in twenty equal annual
installments.
C. Sanitary Lateral No's. 1964 -58 and 1965 -28 in
fifteen equal annual installments.
D. Sanitary Lateral No's. 1964 -18, 1964 -25 and 1965 -34
in twenty equal annual installments.
E. Water Improvement No's. 1964 -34, 1964 -39 1964 -40
1964 -42, 1965 -9 1965 -10 1965 -11 1965 -12 1965 -14
1965 -15, 1965 -19 and 1965 -20 in twenty equal annual
installments.
F. Street Improvement No's. 1964 -47, 1964 -48 and 1964 -53
in five equal annual installments.
G. Street Improvement No's. 1964 -46, 1964 -49, 1964 -51
1964 -52, 1964 -54 1964 -55 and 1964 -57 in seven equal
annual installments.
H. Public Utilities Water Revenue 65 Hook -ups in twenty
equal annual installments.
I. Water Hook -ups in twenty equal annual installments.
J. Sanitary Lateral No. 614 -20 in twenty equal annual
installments.
K. Sewer Connections in twenty equal annual installments.

9. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to make up and
file in the office of the County Auditor of Hennepin County a
certified statement of the amount which will be due thereon the
1st day of January in each year.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson,
Phil Cohen john Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck,
and the Yollowing voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
