HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-223 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -223 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THREE POLICE PATROL CARS WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and Assistant to Administrator have reported that on November 5, 1965 at 2:00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of three (3) police patrol cars and that said bids were as follows: Trade -in Allowance on Price Total Price Two (2) 19 65 Total Cash Per Car for three cars Chevrolets Difference Iten Chevrolet 2,429.66 7,288.98 1,900.98 5,388.00 Brookdale Motors 2,468.17 7,404.51 1,770.00 5,634.51 Midway Co. (Ford)2,318.46 6,955.38 1,470.00 5,485.38 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Iten Chevrolet in the amount of $5,388.00 for the furnishing of three (3) police patrol cars in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and that said bid is hereby accepted. November 8, 1965 Date Mayor ATTEST: 6?4J 6 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck John Leary, and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
