HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-233 CCR Member Phil Cohen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -233 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF CRUSHED ROCK SALT WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and Assistant to Administrator have reported that on November 5, 1965 at 2:00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of crushed rock salt and that said bids were as follows: Alternate Rock Salt Rust Prohibitive Salt Cutler Magner 10.80 per ton No Bid International Salt Co. 9.90 per ton No Bid Cargill Inc. 9.90 per ton 13.90 per ton Diamond Crystal Salt Co. 9.80 per ton No Bid NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Diamond Crystal Salt Company in the amount of $9.80 per ton for the furnishing of crushed rock salt in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and that said bid is hereby accepted. November 22, 1965 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, john Leary, Earl Simons. and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
