HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-235 CCR Member Phil Cohen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -235 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on November 29, 1965, at 10:00 A.M., C.S.T., they opened and tabulated bids received for Deep Well Improvement Project No. 1965 -37A, and that said bids were as follows: Thein Well Company, Inc. $7,220.00 Mueller Bros. Well Company $7,884.00 McCarthy Well Company $8,103.00 Layne- Minnesota Company $8,169.00 Tonka Equipment Company (Bergerson- Caswell, Inc.) $8,595.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Thein Well Company, Inc., in the amount of $7,220.00, as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Deep Well Improvement Project No. 1965 -37A, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. December 6, 1965 �rf Date �D D "ayo ATTEST: �t �GJLiwdv�a Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, john Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
