HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-237 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -237 RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE VILLAGE COUNCIL'S PROCEEDINGS RELEVANT TO SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1964 -12 WHEREAS, on April 27, 1964, the Brooklyn Center Village Council conducted a public hearing relevant to Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1964 -12; and WHEREAS, on April 27, 1964, and subsequent to the public hearing, the Brooklyn Center Village Council adopted a resolution entitled, "Resolution Ordering Construction of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1964 -12 and Ordering Preparation of Plans and Specifications and WHEREAS, the petitioner in favor of Project No. 1964 -12 did not meet the Village Council's stipulations prerequisite to advertising the project for bids. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center to rescind its April 27, 1964 resolution ordering construction of plans and specifications. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this rescinding action shall not preclude the future re- establishment of a similar sanitary sewer improvement, subject to all provisions of the statutes. December 6, 1965 Mayor Date ATTEST: aS6 stmL,Ou Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
