HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-242 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -242 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ONE (1) 4400G.V.W. VAN TRUCK WHEREAS, the Village Engineer and the Assistant to Administrator have reported that on December 13, 1965 at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of one (1) 4400 G.V.W. Van Truck and that said bids were as follows: Total Bid Price Total Bid Price on Alternate on 4400 Pound Supervan Van Truck Iten Chevrolet 1895.00 Brookdale Ford 2167.67 2077.67 King Dodge 1890.20 Midway Ford 1889.31 1799.40 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Midway Ford in the amount of $1889.31 for the furnishing of one (1) Supervan in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and that said bid is hereby accepted. f December 13, 1965 Date Mayor Y ATTEST: (—C Vl-tJa Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck, Phil Cohen, John Leary and Earl Simons and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
