RESOLUTION NO. 2024-61
RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING AWARDED FUNDS FROM THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SOURCE WATER PROTECTION
AND AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Health Source Water Protection
Program provides grants for well sealing and other activities to help protect drinking water
resources, and;
WHEREAS, The City of Brooklyn Center desires to use the funds to seal an
abandoned well.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that:
1. Authorizes its City Manager to accept awarded funds on behalf of the City for the
Minnesota Department of Health Source Water Protection Grant and to execute such
agreements as may be necessary to implement the project on behalf of the City.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Jerzak
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Butler, Graves, Jerzak, Kragness, Lawrence-Anderson
and the following voted against the same: none
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
