HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-015 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65- 15 RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACA- TION OF A PORTION OF R.L.S. NO. 1023 WHEREAS, the owner of all of land abutting tracts D, I and J, Registered Land Survey Number 1023 has petitioned the Village Council for the vacation of said tracts; and WHEREAS, these tracts have been dedicated to the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota for street purposes; and WHEREAS, the Council desires to hold a public hear- ing to determine whether the proposed vacation appears to be for the public interest; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF BROOKLYN CENTER: 1. The Village Clerk is authorized and directed to post and publish notice of the said meeting two (2) weeks prior to its occurrence on March 1, 1965 at 8:00 P.M. February 8, 1965 Date MAYOR ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Phil Cohen and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson,. Howard Heck, Phil Cohen, John Leary and Earl Simons and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
