HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-041 CCR i Member Phil Cohen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -41 RESOLUTION TO ACQUIRE TAX FORFEITED LAND DESCRIBED AS THAT PART LYING EAST OF THE WEST 150 FEET FRONT AND REAR OF LOT 25 PARCEL NO. 5200 LILAC VIEW ADDITION WHEREAS, the above described parcel of land has become the property of the State of Minnesota under the provisions of law declaring the forfeiture of lands to the State for non payment of taxes, and WHEREAS, the Village of Brooklyn Center wishes to acquire the above described tract of land for park purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center to make application to acquire said land for park purposes and to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute an application by governmental subdivisions for conveyance of tax forfeited lands. March 15, 1965 Date Mayor 1 ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck, Phil Cohen, John Leary and Earl Simons, and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
