HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-051 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -51 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR GASOLINE, FUEL OIL FOR HEATING AND DIESEL FUEL OIL WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and Assistant to Administrator have reported that on April 19, 19 6 5, at 2: 00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of gasoline, fuel oil, and diesel fuel oil and that said bids were as follows: #2 Diesel Bidder Reqular Gas Ethvl Gas #2 Fuel Oil Fuel Mobil Oil Co. 17.08 /gal 18.9 6� /gal 10.7 Vgal. 10. 7 /gal Sinclair Refining Co. 17.71 18.95 10.73 10.73 Midland Coop. 17.88 19.88 11.1 11.4 Standard Oil Co. 17.25 19.25 10.95 10.95 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the low bid of Mobil Oil Company in the amount of 17.08 for regular gas and 10.7 for #2 Fuel Oil and 10.7 for #2 Diesel Fuel in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 19, 1965 L Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, Howard Heck, John Leary and Earl Simons, and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
