HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-052 CCR Member Phil Cohen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -52 RESOLUTION APPROVING CLAIM FOR COST OF SANITARY SEWER SERVICE REPAIR WHEREAS, Gerald Olejar of 2406 55th Avenue North, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota has presented a claim for reimbursement for the cost of repairing the sanitary sewer service to his home, and WHEREAS, any one of several construction activities (i.e. water main construction, street surfacing, trucking fill to park, park grading) under the control of the Village of Brooklyn Center during the summer and fall of 1964 could have caused damage to the sewer service at the above address, and WHEREAS, it is impossible to determine which construction activity caused the damage to the sewer service, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center determines that the damage was likely caused by a Village controlled activity and authorizes the pay ment of the claim in the amount of $199.00 from the Public Utilities Fund. The payment of this claim does not imply acceptance of the future maintenance of this sewer service and is authorized only be- cause the Village conducted the above mentioned construction activities on 55t h Avenue North.
