and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 65 -71
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF GRAVEL FROM AN
ALTERNATE SOURCE
WHEREAS, the delay in the delivery of construction materials
can seriously hamper the completion of street surfacing projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that if the Craig Alexander
Company is unable to deliver materials as required by the Street
Department so as to not delay construction of street surfacing, the
Administrator is authorized to purchase gravel from alternate sources
at the unit prices submitted in their bids on April 19, 1965.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken there
on the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck,
Phil Cohen, John Leary, and Earl Simons,
and the following voted against the same: None;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
