HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-073 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -73 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM DEEP WELL PROTECTS 1965 -36 1965 -37 WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on May 10 1964, at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for Deep Well Project No's. 1965 -36 and 1965 -37 and that said bids were as follows: Keys Well Drilling Co. $36,880.00 Mueller Brothers Well Co. $40 Bergerson- Caswell, Inc. $44,670.00 Layne Minnesota. $45,140.00 E. H. Renner 6 Sons, Inc. $45,620.00 McCarthy Well Co. 0 $48 Tri -State Drilling Co. $52 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Keys Well Drilling Co. in the amount of $36,880.00 as to furnishing of all work, labor, and material in connection with Projects 1965 -36 and 1965 -37 according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder anZs' b* is'hereb accepted. May 10, 1965 Date `s May r ATTEST: a_0 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck, John Leary and Earl Simons, and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
