moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 65 -88
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION OF THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL TO REPRESENTATIVE WILLIAM FRENZEL
WHEREAS, during the 1965 session of the Minnesota Legislature
the East 30th Legislative District was without an elected representative
in the House of Representatives; and
WHEREAS, Mr. William Frenzel, Representative of the West 30th
Legislative District shouldered the additional burden of work for the East
30th Legislative District and did outstanding service to said district and
the Village of Brooklyn Center and its citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of
the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the Village Council take
this opportunity to express its thanks to Representative Frenzel for his
diligent efforts on behalf of the Village of Brooklyn Center and its citizens
during the 1965 legislative session.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Phil Cohen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons
and Howard Heck,
and the following voted against the same: None;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
