HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-105 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65 -105 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED WATER. MAIN IMPROVEMENT NO'S. 1965 -10 8 11 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improvements consisting of the following: 1965 -10 Water main in Ericon Drive from Brookview Drive to Lilac Drive and Lilac Drive from Ericon Drive to Hillsview Road. 1965 -11 Water main in Lilac Drive from Hillsview Road to 57th Avenue, 57th Avenue from Lilac Drive to Logan Avenue, Logan Avenue from 57th Avenue to Lilac Drive and Lilac Drive from Logan Avenue to 59th Avenue, and 59th Avenue from Lilac Drive to 135 feet west of James Avenue. WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they can be constructed at an estimated cost of $12,297.00 and $3.0,884.00 respectively. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be held at the Village Hall in the Village on Monday, the 12th day of July, 1965, at 8 :00 and 9 :00 o'clock P.M. respectively and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks publication in the official newspaper of the Village. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE NAMED STREETS WHERE THE PROJECT IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Water Main Improvement No's. 1965 -10 and 11. 1 June 28, 19 6 5 Date ATTEST: 0 Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 65 -105 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen, john Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
