moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 65 -108
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1965 -29
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement
consisting of the following:
19 6 5 29 Storm s ewer in Ericon Drive from Oliver Avenue to T. H.
100 ditch, and Hillsview Road from Brookview Drive to T.H. 100 ditch.
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report
advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be
constructed at an estimated cost of $21,502.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by
Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at
the Village Hall in the Village on Monday, the 12th day of July, 1965, at
8 :00 o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and
place of hearing by two weeks publication in the official newspaper of
the Village.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement consists
of all lots and parcels within the following described boundary:
That part of the South 1/2 of Section 2, Township 118, Range 21,
described as follows: all of R.L.S. No. 597 as recorded in the
County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota; all of Tract A, R.L.S.
No.1114, as recorded in the County of Hennepin, State of
Minnesota; all of Ryden's First Addition as recorded in the County
of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, except Tract B, C, and D, of
R.L.S. No. 1114 therein; all of Ryden's Second Addition as
recorded in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, except
Lot 3, 4, 5, and 6, of Block 6, therein; all of Ryden's Third
Addition as recorded in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota,
except that part of Lot 1, Block 4, lying southwesterly of a line
parallel to and 135 feet distant southerly and westerly of the
west line of Ericon Drive; and that part of Lot 1, Block 2, Franzen' s
Second Addition as recorded in the County of Hennepin, State of
Minnesota, lying north of a line from the southwest corner of the
northeast corner therein.

4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Storm Sewer
Improvement No. 1965 -29.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Phil Cohen,
John Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck,
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
