moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 65 -111
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT NO'S. 1965 -24, 25, 33, AND 27
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement
consisting ofthe following:
1965 -24 Street surfacing on County Road 10 from Osseo Road to
Admiral Lane, Admiral Lane from County Road 10 to Northport Drive,
Drew Avenue from County Road 10 to Admiral Lane, and Northport Drive
from County Road 10 to Osseo Road.
1965 -25 Street surfacing on Halifax Avenue from approximately
320 feet south of 59th Avenue northward to Halifax Place.
1965 -33 Street surfacing on Logan and Knox Avenues from 53rd
Avenue to 55th Avenue, 53rd Avenue from 133 feet west of Logan Avenue
to 134 feet east of Knox Avenue, and 54th Avenue from 133 feet west of
Logan Avenue to 134 feet east of Knox Avenue.
1965 -27 Street surfacing on Knox Avenue from 55th Avenue to 59th
Avenue, 56th Avenue from 133 feet west of Knox Avenue to 135 feet east
of Knox Avenue, 58th Avenue from 135 feet west of Knox Avenue to 135
feet east of Knox Avenue, 59th Avenue from 143 feet west of Knox Avenue
to 128 feet east of Knox Avenue.
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report
advising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they can
be constructed at an estimated cost of $16,876.00, $6,394.00, $18,133.00,
and $17 respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by
Chapter 398 Laws of Minnesota 1953 as amended.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be held
at the Village Hall 1 In the Village on Monday, 19th day of Jul

8:15 8 :30 8. 5 o'clock P.M. and the
Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks
publication in the official newspaper of the Village.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as
follows:
ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE NAMED STREETS WHERE
THE PROJECTS ARE TO BE CONSTRUCTED.

4. The proposed improvements shall be designated Street Surfacing
Improvement No's. 1965 -24, 25, 33, and 27,

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Phil Cohen and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson,
Phil Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck,
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
