HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-126 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: I RESOLUTION N0. 65 -126 Y F, RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Assistant Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on July 8, 1965, at 2 :00 P.M., they opened and tabulated bids received for Water Main Improvement No's. 1965 -9, 10, 11, and 12, Storm Sewer Improvement No. 1965 -29, and Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1965 -34 and that said bids were as follows: Knutson- Seurer, Inc. $96,848.25 R. D. McLean Const. Co. $98,490.71 Minn -Kota Excavating Co. $99 Randall Brothers $101,088.25 F. D. Chapman Const. Co. $101,659.90 McCrossan, Inc. $110,781.25 Barbarossa 8 Sons, Inc. $126,143.65 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Knutson Seurer, Inc. in the amount of $76,139.75, as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Water Main Improvement No's. 1965 -9, 10, 11, and 12, and Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1965 -34 according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid for the furnishing of all work, labor, and material in connection with Storm Sewer Improvement No. 1965 -29 is rejected and not approved as part of this contract.
