moved its adoption:
EDA RESOLUTION NO. 2007 -22
introduced the following resolution and
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 2500 COUNTY ROAD 10
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority "EDA has been advised by
1277 LLC that it is willing to convey to the EDA certain real estate located at 2500 County Road 10,
situated in the State of Minnesota, County of Hennepin, and which is legally described as follows
"Property
That part of Lot 2, Block 2, Brookdale Square, embraced within Tract A, Registered
Land Survey No. 1256 and within Outlot 1, Brookdale First Addition.
(Torrens Property, Certificate of Title No. 1159066)
and
Lot 2, Block 2, Brookdale Square, except that part of said Lot 2 embraced within
Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 1256 and within Outlot 1, Brookdale First
Addition.
(Abstract Property)
WHEREAS, the EDA has determined it is in the best interests of the EDA to purchase
the Property in accordance with the provisions of a Purchase Agreement which is on file in the office
of the Executive Director for a purchase prices of $6,450,000, including any relocation benefits to
which Seller and any tenants may otherwise be entitled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development Authority
in and for the City of Brooklyn Center as follows:
1. Purchase of the Property in accordance with the provisions of the Purchase
Agreement is in the best interests of the City of Brooklyn Center and the
EDA.
2. The Executive Director is authorized and directed to execute and deliver the
Purchase Agreement and such other documents as are consistent therewith
and in furtherance thereof on behalf of the EDA and to take all steps
necessary to carry out the terms of the Purchase Agreement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner
Dan Ryan
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Tim Willson, Kay Tasman, Dan Ryan, and Mark Yelich;
and the following voted against the same: Mary 0' Connor;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
