HomeMy WebLinkAbout2008-014 EDAR1 Commissioner Kay Lasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: December 8, 2008 Date EDA RESOLUTION NO. 200814 RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $235,000 INTO THE EARLE BROWN HERITAGE CENTER CAPITAL FUND WHEREAS, the Earle Brown Heritage Center is an event and conference center owned and operated by the Economic Development Authority of the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, a capital fund for the Center has been established to provide and ongoing funding mechanism for capital project, repair and maintenance items; and WHEREAS, a cash analysis of the operations for fiscal year ending December 31, 2007, identifies a cash surplus that would permit the transfer of $235,000 from the Center's operating fund to the Center's capital fund without endangering cash flows for normal operations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development Authority of the City of Brooklyn Center that the Authority hereby approves transfer of $235,000 from the Earle Brown Heritage Center Fund for operations to the Earle Brown Heritage Center Capital Fund for use in providing for capital projects, repair and maintenance of the facility. President The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by commissioner Dan Ryan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Tim Willson, Kay Lasman, Mary O'Connor, Dan Ryan, and Mark Yelich; and the following voted against the same: none; said resolution was declared duly pa and adopted.
