Roil Call: Dallas Holm?Frank Kampmeyer, Dallas Lawrence, Ernee McArthur, Robert Oslund, Roger Maehmeier, Harry Johnson, Robert Grosshans, Earl Slmosn, Gerald Gerber, Wayne Lubrecht, Char Its Gerber Motion by Frank Kampmeyer, and seconded by Harry Johnson to approve the minutes of the November 6th meeting as recorded. Motion carried. Chairman, Robert Oslund, then turned the discussion over to the Chairman of the "Industrial Climate Study Committee; Ernee McArthur. Members further discussed the progress on their questionaires teach member received 10 to 14 questionaires), the reception of the visit and questionaire by the businessmen, and some of their comments and rroblems. It was suggested the questionaires be summarized by type of business, as well as a summary of the complete study. It was further indicated that this Commission should study the problems, seeking out available information and further supporting the businessmen, by attendance at Council and Planning Commission meetings when these items are being discussed. All members indicated they would be able to complete their questionaires by the date designated, which is December 15th. The Committee will be compiling the additional information needed to complete the NorthernStates Power questionaire. The Industrial Climate Study Committee is scheduled to present a preliminary report at our January meeting. "Planning for the Future" was the slogan placed on our business cards. Mr. Kampmeyer was furnished with additional questionaires, to be completed, in part, on their visit so that the files on existing businesses in Brooklyn Center will be up-dated, Chairman of our "Contact Committee," Dallas Lawrence, reported on the most recent contacts with businesses interested in locating in Brooklyn Center, as well as businesses planning to relocate, now located in surrounding areas. Motion by Dallas Lawrence, and seconded by Harry Johnson that the meeting be adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 P.M. The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, Januaryl3.
