Minnesota February 5, 1963 The February 5th meeting of the Industrial Development Commission was called to order by Chairman, Robert Oslund at 8:45 P. M. Roll Call: Roger Machmeier, Harry Johnson, Frank Kampmeyer, Robert Oslund, Ernee McArthur, Dallas Lawrence, and Earl Simons. Motion by Frank Kampmeyer, and seconded by Harry Johnson to approve the minutes of the January 2nd meeting as recorded. Motion carried. Mr. Lee introduced Mr. Richard F. Jesberg, a reviewing apprasier, with the Prudential Insurance Company, to the members. Mr. Jesberg reviewed the three main factors involved in the awarding of loan's by Prudential. They consist of the following: 1) General Location 2) Company 3) Structure. A question and answer period followed the informal discussion. Chairman, Robert Oslund, asked the Secretary to notify members that have been absent from three consecutive regular meetings without the formal consent of the Commission, that this shall be deemed to constitute their resignation. The Council was also asked to be notified, so their replacements can be made. Chairman of our Contact Committee, Dallas Lawrence brought the members up to date in regard to Osseo motors locating in the village. He indicated there would be something more definite to report at our next meeting . Dallas Lawrence and Mr. Lee will contact the Post office in regard to a Contract Station to be located at Brookdale Center. Members were given copies of the final recap of our Industrial Climate Study. Discussion of this report was postponed until our next meeting, when the members will have had time to study the report. Motion by Dallas Lawrence, and seconded by Frank Kampmeyer that the meeting be adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 11:15 P. M. The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 5th.
