HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-007 EDAR1 1 1 Commissioner Debra Hilstram introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the Executive Director has reported the following Earle Brown Heritage Center accounts receivable are not expected to be collected due to staff efforts being exhausted and accounts being turned over to collection agencies. Collection efforts will continue by the collection agency and with the adoption of this resolution, the accounts will be removed from the receivable records and charged off as uncollectible accounts. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the Executive Director is authorized to write off from the EDA's records as uncollectible the following accounts receivable: Due From Convention Center: Hire Jam Training Inn on the Farm: Hadassah Association Volunteer Softkey International Grand Total /0 Date EDA RESOLUTION NO. 99 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO WRITE OFF UNCOLLECTIBLE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE Amount $3,431.47 298.13 90.00 $3,819.60 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by commissioner Kay Tasman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Debra Hilstrom, Kay Lasman, Ed Nelson, and Robert Peppe; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
