West River Road, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota (Premier Mechanical Building), the following bids
were received, opened and tabulated by a representative of the Community Development Director
on the 12th day of January, 1996:

moved its adoption:

M.A.A.C., Inc.
Red Pine Industries, Inc.
Safe Air Systems, Inc.
A -1 Abatement, Inc.
*work performed from February 12 to February 21.
*work performed from May 6 to May 15.

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AT THE EDA -OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT
6550 WEST RIVER ROAD (PREMIER MECHANICAL BTTTI.DINCT)

WHEREAS, it appears that RenTec Services, Inc., has submitted the lowest
responsible bid for asbestos abatement at 6550 West River Road (Premier Mechanical Building).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development
Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center that:
1. The EDA President and Executive Director are hereby authorized to execute
a contract with RenTec Services, Inc., for asbestos abatement at 6550 West
River Road (Premier Mechanical Building)
2. All costs associated with the project shall be accounted for in the EDA special
operating fund.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by commissioner
Debra Hilstrom and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof:
Myrna Kragness, Debra Hilstrom, and Kathleen Carmody;
and the following voted against the same: Kristen Mann,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
