HomeMy WebLinkAbout1994-039 EDAR1 1 1 Commissioner Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: EDA RESOLUTION NO. 94 39 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTATIONS AND AUTHORIZING PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT FOR DEMOLITION OF THE EDA OWNED PROPERTIES AT 6933 BROOKLYN BOULEVARD AND 5900 EMERSON AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, invitations to submit quotations for the demolition of 6933 Brooklyn Boulevard and 5900 Emerson Avenue North were sent to five demolition contractors; and WHEREAS, quotations were received for the demolition of 6933 Brooklyn Boulevard and 5900 Emerson Avenue North; and WHEREAS, the following quotations were received: COMPANY NAME OUOTE Doty and Sons, Inc. Veit Company, Inc. September 12, 1994 and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. $12,800 $12,833 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center that it is in the best interest of the Brooklyn Center EDA to accept the quotation for demolition of 6933 Brooklyn Boulevard and 5900 Emerson Avenue North submitted by Doty and Sons, Inc., in the amount of $12,800; and the EDA President and Executive Director are hereby authorized to enter into a contract for demolition of the properties described herein.
