HomeMy WebLinkAbout1993-022 EDARCommissioner Celia Scott resolution and moved its adoption: EDA RESOLUTION NO. 93 -22 introduced the following RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL OF MARQUETTE PARTNERS FOR A MANAGEMENT STUDY OF THE EARLE BROWN HERITAGE CENTER WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center (EDA) has requested proposals for a management /operations study of the Earle Brown Heritage Center; and WHEREAS, the EDA has received two (2) proposals to provide marketing and operational consulting services; and WHEREAS, the proposal submitted by Marquette Partners is deemed to be the best and most appropriate proposal. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center that: 1. The proposal of Marquette Partners in the amount of $8,500 be accepted; 2. The EDA approve a retainer fee of $3,000; 3. The EDA appropriation for contingency expenditures be reduced by $8,500; and 4. The EDA appropriation for professional services be increased by $8,500 for the Earle Brown Heritage Center management study. June 14, 1993 Date Todd Paulson, President The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Dave Rosene and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Dave Rosene, and Kristen Mann; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
