HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-021 EDAR1 Commissioner Celia Scott resolution and moved its adoption: EDA RESOLUTION NO. 91 -21 introduced the following RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COMPLETION OF THE TACK ROOM (HIPPODROME BASEMENT) AT THE EARLE BROWN HERITAGE CENTER AND ACCEPTING WRITTEN OUOTATIONS FOR WORK WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Economic Development Authority through the Earle Brown Heritage Center receives regular requests for additional breakout space to rent at the Heritage Center; and WHEREAS, the Tack Room (Hippodrome Basement) was built with the intent that it would be finished for breakout space; and WHEREAS, revenue projections from the finished space are sufficient to amortize the cost of finishing the space. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center that: 1. the budget for completion of the Tack Room (Hippodrome Basement) be established at $92,000; 2. the Earle Brown Tax Increment District shall provide a loan of the necessary funds at eight percent (8 interest over a five (5) year period; 3. the following quotations from subcontractors be accepted: a) Rouah Caroentry Mulcahy Drywall b) Finish Carpentry RFK Construction c) Custom Woodwork Urban Cabinets d) Metal Doors and Frames Custom Millwork e) Wood Doors Custom Millwork f) Finish Hardware Custom Millwork g) Gypsum Drywall Mulcahy Drywall 9,650.00 992.00 2,200.00 346.96 548.72 287.53 5,848.00 1 EDA RESOLUTION NO. 91 -21 h) Acoustical Ceiling Kirk Acoustics i) Carpet Metro Floor Supply j) Painting Commercial Protective Coatings k) Operable Partitions Hauenstein Burmeister Inc. 1) Fire Protection Olsen Fire Protection m) H.V.A.0 J.
