HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-026 EDAR1 1 Commissioner Celia Scott resolution and moved its adoption: EDA RESOLUTION NO. 91 -26 introduced the following RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PHASE II CONSTRUCTION FOR SOUNDPROOFING HIPPODROME CHILLER WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center (EDA) has completed Phase I of the soundproofing of the Earle Brown Heritage Center chiller; and WHEREAS, Phase I of the soundproofing did not provide adequate sound reduction; and WHEREAS, the current sound level from the chiller exceeds state mandated noise levels; and WHEREAS, the EDA coordinator has obtained quotations for the completion of Phase II in the amount of $13,187. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center that Phase II of the Heritage Center chiller noise reduction plan is approved and the EDA coordinator is authorized to complete the project as part of the carryover costs of the original restoration. A u zust 26. 1991 Date President The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Philip Cohen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
