Adjournment Minutes of the Proceedings of the Industrial Development Commission of the Village of Brooklyn Center in the County of Hennepin and State of Minnesota March 15, 1966 Call to Order: The March meting of the Industrial Development Commission was called to order by Jay Bush, Chairman, at 8:10 P.M. Roll Call: Jay Bush, James Grant, Thomas Harty, William Legler, Ernee McArthur, Earl Rydberg, Carl Sandstrom (9) Bill W illiamsj Vern Lindstrom Absent: Roy Brock, Arthur Gustaf son; Ray Johnson (3) It was firoudt to the attention of the Commission that Don Mason called and resigned because of work load involved in being Fire Chief for the Village. It was necessary that Arthur Gustafson be absent this evening, formal consent was given. Minutes: Minutes of the February lst meeting stood approved as read. Ault, Inc,: Carl Sandstrom reported on contact with Ault, Inc. An appointment has been scheduled to discuss their need for additional space. Annual Report: Motion by Vern Lindstrom, and seconded by Bill Williams approving the Annual Report as corrected, Motion carried. Capital Long-Range Improvement Commission Motion by Carl Sandstrom, and seconded by James Grant recommending the Industrial Development Commission be represented on the Capital LongRange Improvement Commission. Motion carried. Recommendation will be conveyed to Mayor Cohen. Updating Land Inventory Vern Lindstrom, Chairman-Updating Land Inventory Committee, plans to meet with Mr. Lee and his committee to began the comb, nation and further ideas on the lay-out. There was discussion whether this migh`• be a promotional item. "Helping Hand" Program Motion by Ernee McArthur, and seconded by Bill Williams approving the "Helping Hand" program to consist of a cover letter, questionaire and enclosed envelope to businessmen in the Village. This program will enable the Commission to update climate study and information on present businesses. Motion carried. Businessmen will be called if question- aire is not returned. Adjournment: The meting was adjourned at 10:10 P.M. The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday. April 5th. 8 P.M. Villase Hall. Respectfully submitted: Ernee McArthur, Secretary
