HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-002 EDAR1 1 1 Member Gene Lhotka resolution and moved its adoption: EDA RESOLUTION NO. 89 02 introduced the following RESOLUTION ADJUSTING HOUSEHOLD INCOME LIMITS FOR ELIGIBILITY FOR A BROOKLYN CENTER HOME REHABILITATION GRANT WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center administers the Brooklyn Center Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program; and WHEREAS, income limits for eligibility were determined in 1978 at Section 8 maximum income levels; and WHEREAS, Brooklyn Center desires to continue to offer assistance to the largest number of homes possible; and WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center housing commission has recommended an adjustment to the current income levels. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center that the Brooklyn Center Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program income limits be adjusted as follows: NO. IN HOUSEHOLD INCOME 1 $18,975 2 $21,650 3 $24,350 4 $27,075 5 $28,775 6 $30,450 7 $32,175 8 or more $33,850 January 23, 1989 Date The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, and Jerry Pedlar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
