The Commission is now participating in the study committeeis evaluation of the Commissions efforts. COMMENTS ; While the past year has been an extremely difficult one for the Commission to cope with due to the 11701" Program not being completed, and no activity on the farm area, the future looks like one of challenge and activity. Retaining present industry and attracting new industry continues to be a highly competitive field and requires a concentrated effort by the total community. This is especially called to our attention by the many communities, including Minneapolis, that have recently established Industrial Commissions and budgets to publicize their area. The study committee to evaluate the Commission has not met at the writing of this Annual Report. It is generally felt that their recommendations will be of assistance to the Council in deciding the role of the Commission in the future. The Commission expresses our appreciation to Village Administrator and his staff for the excellent cooperation we have received during past year, the the 0 March 11, 1966 NOTICE Industrial Development Commission Evaluation Committee Meeting TO: Earl Simons - Council John Teary - Council Jdy Bush - Industrial Development Commission Earl Rydberg - Industrial Development Commission Bob Grosshans - Planning Commission Dave Johnson - Chamber of Commerce Mayor Cohen is calling the first meeting of this committee for Wednesday March 16th at 8. 00 P.M.
