resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF 1,200 STACKING CHAIRS FOR EARLE BROWN HERITAGE
CENTER
WHEREAS, it is necessary to purchase 1,200 stacking
chairs for Earle Brown Heritage Center; and
WHEREAS, specifications were approved on September 25,
1989, and bids were opened on October 17, 1989; and
WHEREAS, four bids were received as follows:

Metro Systems 100,680
Competitive Edge Office Furniture 100,800
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic
Development Authority of the City of Brooklyn Center that the
purchase of 1,200 stacking chairs from Pink Company in the amount
of $92,700 is hereby approved.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Commissioner Todd Paulson and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist,
Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
