Adjournment Page 1 of 4 Council Regular Meeting DATE: 2/9/2026 TO: Council/EDA Work Session FROM: Jason Aarsvold, Ehlers THROUGH: Daren Nyquist, Deputy City Manager BY: Ginny McIntosh, Planning Manager SUBJECT: EDA Meeting Changes and Additions Requested Council Action: City staff requests the Economic Development Authority engage in discussion with staff around proposed changes to the format of EDA meetings. Background: The City has historically not been consistent in holding EDA meetings, or in placing EDA-related items on EDA meeting agendas. City staff would like to briefly discuss proposed changes to the format of City EDA meetings to ensure greater focus and communication around EDA-related activities and to ensure the most efficient use of our City Councilmember/EDA Commissioner’s time at regularly scheduled meetings. A brief PowerPoint presentation, which outlines the proposed changes, is included for review. Budget Issues: None to consider at this time.
