HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989 07-10 EDAM Special SessionCALL TO ORDER The Brooklyn Center Economic Development Authority met in special session and was called to order by President Dean Nyquist at 8 :15 p.m. ROLL CALL President Nyquist, Commissioners Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen. Also present were EDA Director Gerald Splinter, Director of Public Works Sy Knapp, Finance Director Paul Holmlund, Director of Planning and Inspection Ron Warren, City Attorney Charlie LeFevere, Police Chief Jim Lindsay, Deputy City Assessor Mark Parish, EDA Coordinator Brad Hoffman, and Administrative Aide Patti Page. APPROVAL OF MINUTES JUNE 12, 1989 SPECIAL SESSION There was a motion by Commissioner Paulson and seconded by President Nyquist to approve the minutes of the June 12, 1989, Economic Development Authority meeting. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioners Scott and Pedlar abstained from the vote. RESOLUTION The EDA Director presented a Resolution Property and Authorizing the Sale of Same. the lot at 5345 Colfax Avenue North. The sets forth the formal steps which must be property. RESOLUTION NO. 89 -17 Commissioner Celia Scott introduced adoption: RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN LANDS TO BE EXCESS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SAME The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was Commissioner Todd Paulson, and the motion passed unanimously. ADJOURNMENT. There was a motion by Commissioner Paulson and seconded by Commissioner Cohen to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
