adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2009-96
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING WINNERS OF THE 2009
CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER LANDSCAPE AND GARDEN CONTEST
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to acknowledge and support the efforts of citizens
and area businesses to promote beautification of residential and commercial properties in
Brooklyn Center; and
WHEREAS, the Council is appreciative of the hard work and efforts of many residents in
gardening and landscaping their properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, that the following winners of the 2009 City of Brooklyn Center Landscape
and Garden Contest are recognized and commended for their achievements:

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Mark Yelich
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Tim Willson, Kay Lasman, Tim Roche, Dan Ryan, and Mark Yelich;
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
