AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 35 OF THE
YARD SETBACK REQUIREMENTS AND THE
HEIGHT OF ACCESSORY STRUCTURES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CEN-
TER ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 35 of the City Code of Ordinances
of the City of Brooklyn Center is hereby amended in the
following manner
Section 35 -400. TABLE OF MINIMUM DISTRICT RE-
QUIREMENTS. Every use of land within the City of Brook-
lyn Center shall conform to the following minimum re-
quirements which are applicable to the Land Use District
in which such use is contemplated.
3c: The setback distance shall be measured from the ex-
terior wall of the building, and no part of any roof cor-
nice or any appendage to the structure shall project to
a point more than one -third the dis-
tance of the minimum side yard setback.
Section 35 -530. BUILDINGS JN R1 AND R2 DIS-
TRICTS. In RI and R2 districts every building hereafter
erected or structurally altered shall be bated on a lot, and
in no case shall there be more than one principal building
on one lot. The term "principal building" shall be given its
common, ordinary meaning; in case of doubt, or on any
question of interpretation, the decision shall rest with the
zoning official.
3. No accessory building shall exceed 46 .1 i feet in
height.
Section 2. This ordinance shalt be effective after
adoption and thirty days following its legal publication.
