able laws, as amended.

ORDINANCE NO. 2005=06
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR CERTAIN LAND IN
THE CITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CEN-
TER DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
I. BACKGROUND
1.1. The City acquired real property in the City
legally described in the deed as:
The east 192.5 feet of Lot 12 Auditor's Subdivision
No: 57, except the east 92.5 feet of the south 420.67
feet thereof.
(the 'Subject. Property").
1.2. The conveyance of the Subject Property in
cluded in the description of the Subject Property land that
the transferor did not intend to convey to the City and the
City 'did rids intend to acquire. That part of the Subject
Property that was inadvertently included in the description
thereof is described as:
That part of the east 92.5 feet of Lot 12, Auditor's Sub-
division No. 57, lying soutitof a line parallel to and
420.67 feet north of the north right of way line of Coun-
ty Road 130.
(the 'Excess Property").
1.3. The City wishes to correct this erroneous legal
description and release the Excess Property to its intend
ed owner.
II. SALE OF PROPERTY
2.1. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized
and directed to execute a quit claim deed to the Excess
Property and take all steps necessary to effect the trans-
fer thereof
III. EFFECTIVE DATE
3.1. This Ordinance shall become effective after
adoption and upon thirty (30) days following its legal pub-
lication.
