AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 11 -509,
11 -610, AND 11 -710 OF THE CITY CODE RELAT-
ING TO THE LICENSING OF ESTABLISHMENTS
FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN
CENTER DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 11 -509 of the Brooklyn Center City
Code is amended as follows:
Section 11 -509. PLACES INELIGIBLE FOR LI-
CENSE.
1. No license shall be granted, or renewed, for opera
tion onj) any premises, on which my taxes, assessments,
or other financial claims of the Cit .ruinlV or [of thel
State are due, delinquent or unpaid-_. 2l any n„an, a= thar

commenced pursuant to the provisions of 278
Minnesota Statutes questioning the amount or validity of
taxes, the Council may, on application by the licensee,
waive strict compliance with this provision; no waiver
be granted, however, for taxes or any portion thereof
which remain unpaid for a period exceeding one year after
becoming due.
Section 2. Section 11-610 of the Brooklyn Center City
Code is amended as follows:
