the lath day of October 2004 at 7 p.m. or as soon thereafter
as the matter may be heard at the City Hall, 6301 Shingle
Creek Parkway, to consider An Ordinance Amending Sec-
tions 11- 509,11 -610, and 11 -710 of the City Code Relating
to the Licensing of Establishments for the Sale ofAleoholic
Beverages.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 11 -509,
11 -610, AND 11 -710 OF THE CITY CODE RELAT-
ING TO THE LICENSING OF ESTABLISHMENTS
FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN
CENTER DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 11 -509 of the Brooklyn Center City
Code is amended as follows:
Section 11 -509 PLACES INELIGIBLE FOR LI-
CENSE.
1. No license shall be granted, or renewed, for opera-
tion on:�] any premises, on which any taxes, assessments,
or other financial claims of the City. County or [of the]
State are due, delinquent or unpaid. 2) anv nremises that

due. delinquent or unpaid. In the event an action has been
commenced pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 278
Minnesota Statutes questioning the amount or validity of

be granted, however, for taxes or any portion thereof,
which remain unpaid for a period exceeding one year after
becoming due.
Section 2. Section 11 -610 of the Brooklyn Center City
Code is amended as follows:
