Chapter 1 of the City Ordinances of the City of Brooklyn Center is hereby.amended as follows: Section i -111 ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURES. Section 1 -118. DISPOSAL OF UNREDEEMED ANIMALS. The City's designated pound keeper shall make an effort to contact the owner of any animal which has been impounded and which has identification on it. If at the end of the im- pounding period the animal is not reclaimed by the owner, such animal shall be deemed to have been abandoned and may be disposed of or sold to any person following the proce- dures contained in Minnesota Statutes 514.93 relating to the sale of unclaimed animals by Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective after adoption and thirty days following its legal publication. Adopted this 24th day of September 2001.
