Meeting Minutes
Monday, June 8, 1987
Those present: QUENROE, DORFF, ALFORD, LACROSSE, SLUPSKE, BARONE, ROEN,
LINDSAY, NYQUIST, VREELAND, DOTH, AND WEISBECK.
Financial Statement: Approved as distributed.
Balloon Race: Went off on Friday, June 5, 1987. No problems.
Bi-Centennial Update: They will be requesting $5000.00 from the City
Council for fireworks.
Carnival: Goes until June 9, 1987. Good crowds to date.
Car Show : Drew good crowds.
Auction: No results to date - Alot of people in attendance.
Parade: 110 units to date with 14 bands. Paul Douglas will not serve as
Grand Marshall/ Paul Majors has confirmed.
Circus: Ticket sales begin Monday, June 8, 1987.
Fishing Contest/Sunday in Central Park: LACROSSE distributed flyers.
Queen/King Contest: Committee voted between Barbara Annett and Kay
Leach for Senior Queen Royalty. King will be Bob Leach and Queen is
Barbara Annett.
Ambassadors: Raised $6707.00 in financial committement to date.
COHEN/QUENROE will send thank you letter to Ernee McCarther for her work.
